Victor Ban Special Counsel OFFICE OF THE US TRADE REPRESENTATIVE
Victor Ban is Special Counsel at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, where he coordinates the development of supply chain policy, including through trade negotiations and interagency initiatives. Prior to joining USTR, Mr. Ban practiced law at Covington & Burling LLP, where he helped clients in technology, energy, and manufacturing navigate international trade policy and customs matters and complex cross-border disputes. Mr. Ban clerked for Judge Emilio M. Garza of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge Rudolph Contreras of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and previously was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, Oxford University, and Harvard College, and is a licensed U.S. customs broker.
